(±)-Catechin (rel-Cianidanol) 是 Catechin 的外消旋体。(±)-Catechin 具有两种形式 (+)-Catechin 及其对映体 (-)-Catechin。(+)-Catechin 抑制环氧合酶-1 (COX-1) 的 IC₅₀为 1.4 μM。 (±)-Catechin 具有抗肿瘤，抗肥胖，抗糖尿病，抗心血管，抗感染，保肝和神经保护作用。

生物活性

(±)-Catechin (rel-Cianidanol) is the racemate of Catechin. (±)-Catechin has two steric forms of (+)-Catechin and its enantiomer (-)-Catechin. (+)-Catechin inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) with an IC₅₀of 1.4 μM. Anticancer, anti-obesity, antidiabetic, anticardiovascular, anti-infectious, hepatoprotective, and neuroprotective effects^[1].
