EVP-6124 hydrochloride(EVP-6124盐酸盐)是EVP-6124的盐酸盐形式。EVP-6124是α7神经元烟碱型乙酰胆碱受体(nAChRs)的部分激动剂,在体外和体内皆表现出高亲和力[1]。
在一些结合与功能试验中,EVP-6124对α7具有选择性,对α4β2 nAChRs则表现出低亲和力。EVP-6124具有良好的脑渗透能力及充足的暴露时间[1,2]。
共同给予EVP-6124和nAChRs选择性拮抗剂有助于DA、ACH和Glu的释放。这可用于治疗认知障碍和可能的精神病理学的其它方面。共同口服0.1 mg/kg多奈哌齐与0.03 mg/kg EVP-6124可完全恢复记忆,而单独给药则不会改善记忆[1]。选择性α7 nAChRs拮抗剂methyllycaconitine(MLA,1.0 mg/kg)预处理能够显著抑制EVP-6124 (0.1 mg/kg)诱导的皮层DA和Glu外排[2,3]。
