白介素-10(IL-10)细胞因子家族是功能广泛的强免疫介质。该家族包含9个成员:IL-10;IL-20亚家族成员IL-19,IL-20,IL-22,IL-24和IL-26;以及远亲细胞因子IL-28A,IL-28B和IL-29,这些远亲 细胞因子更常被归类为III型干扰素(IFNs)并且被命名为IFN-λ2,IFN-λ3和IFN-λ1[1-3]。
IL-10是细胞因子家族的核心成员,最初被描述为一种从活化的CD4+ T辅助[(Th)2]细胞中纯化出来的活性成分,称为细胞因子合成抑制因子(CSIF)[4]。随着IL-10被克隆出来,逐渐发现它还具有刺激肥大细胞、胸腺细胞和B细胞的功能,另外B细胞对骨髓细胞有主要的免疫抑制作用[1,5-7]。IL-10主要通过抑制促炎细胞因子和抗原呈递细胞(APCs)等功能对骨髓细胞产生抑制作用[8,9]。IL-10对记忆性Th17和Th2细胞也有直接抑制作用,同时促进Foxp3+调节性T细胞(Tregs)的存活和活性[10-13]。与IL-10相关的信号通路同通常与炎症性疾病有关,比如炎症性肠病(IBD)[14],并且在感染过程中常伴有免疫病理特征。
