Aranciamycin A is an anthracyclic antibiotic that has been found inStreptomyces.1It is active againstM. bovisandB. subtilis(MICs = 30 and 7.5 µM, respectively) but notS. aureus, E. coli, P. aeruginosa,orC. albicans(MICs = >30 µM for all).
