Cefroxadine, formerly known as CGP 9000, is a cephalosporin antibiotic. It is structurally related to cefalexin, and both drugs share a similar spectrum of activity. It is available in Italy. Cefroxadine (CXD), an orally bioavailable cephalosporin antibiotic, has a broad spectrum and a bactericidal action.
