CD2665 is a selective retinoic acid receptor (RAR)β and RARγ antagonist (Kds = 110, 306, and > 2,250 nM for RARγ, RARβ, and RARα, respectively, with no binding at RXRα. This compound has been used in animal and in vitro cell models to explore the role of retinoid signaling in a number of biological processes including memory formation and tumor proliferation.
