GEBR-7b is a phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) inhibitor that stops or slows the hydrolysis of cAMP. It improves spatial and object recognition memory in late-phase consolidation processes, and increases the level of cAMP in the hippocampus without affecting the level of Aβ.
