背景信息：

S-腺苷高半胱氨酸水解酶样蛋白 1 (AHCYL1) 是 S-腺苷高半胱氨酸水解酶家族的一员，它参与 S-腺苷-L-同型半胱氨酸的代谢过程 (1)。S-腺苷高半胱氨酸水解酶样蛋白的两个果蝇同源蛋白 dAhcyL1 和 dAhcyL2 被鉴定为蛋氨酸代谢的新组分(2)。dAhcyL1 和 dAhcyL2 可作为 S-腺苷高半胱氨酸水解酶的显性负调节蛋白 (2)。dAhcyL1 和 dAhcyL2 的整体下调可延长寿命 (2)。此外，dAhcyL1 的脑组织特异性下调也可延长寿命 (2)。AHCYL1 也称为 IP₃ 释放的肌醇 1,4,5-三磷酸受体 (IP₃R) 结合蛋白 (IRBIT) (1, 3)。这种蛋白结合内质网钙释放通道 IP₃R 并抑制其活性 (1, 3)。作为一种多功能调节蛋白，AHCYL1/IRBIT 还可与核苷酸还原酶形成复合体并抑制核苷酸还原酶的活性，因此会影响 DNA 复制和基因组完整性所必需的脱氧核苷酸三磷酸盐的平衡 (4)。
