Background:

Trospium-d₈is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of trospium by GC- or LC-MS. Trospium is an antagonist of muscarinic (M) receptors (K_is = 0.50-2.3 nM for human M_1-5recombinant receptors, respectively).¹Formulations containing antimuscarinics, including trospium, are used to manage overactive bladder by relieving urgency, frequency, and incontinence.^1,2,3
