13,14-dihydro-15-keto Prostaglandin F_2α-d₄(13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGF_2α-d₄) contains four deuterium atoms at the 3, 3', 4, and 4' positions. It is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGF_2αby GC-or LC-mass spectrometry. 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGF_2αis the first prominent plasma metabolite of PGF_2αin the 15-hydroxy PGDH pathway.¹Measurement of 13,14-dihydro-15-keto PGF_2αin plasma can be used as a marker of thein vivoproduction of PGF_2α.^1,2,3
