Artonin E is an anti-tumor drug which has been shown to induce p53-independent G1 cell cycle arrest and apoptosis through ROS-mediated mitochondrial pathway and livin suppression in MCF-7 cells. Artonin E may also be effective in treatment of MDA-MB 231 triple negative breast cancer.
