Aminothiazole is a kinase inhibitor. Aminothiazole is also active against multinucleated tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP)-positive osteoclast-like cells, suggesting it may be a potential inhibitor for treatment of chronic inflammatory bone resorption, such as periodontitis.
