Ganoderic acid B (also called ganoderate b or GAB) is a naturally occuring triterpene compound found in a mushroom Ganoderma lucidum with various pharmacological effects. It is an inhibitor of HIV-1 protease and the telomerase of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) antigens, and can also be used as a chemical marker in quality control of G. lucidum and related products.
