Tubulysin I is a highly cytotoxic peptide extracted from the myxobacterial species Archangium geophyra and Angiococcus disciformis. Tubulysin exhibits extremely potent cytotoxic activity in mammalian cells, including multidrug-resistant cell lines, with IC50 in the lower nanomolar range.
