MSN-125 is an effective Bax and Bak oligomerization inhibitor. MSN-125 prevents mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization (MOMP) (IC50: 4 μM).

MSN-125 suppresses tBid/Bax-mediated MOMP in a concentration-dependent manner.
