Super Fluor 647, SE is a reactive dye for the labeling of antibodies, peptides, proteins, tracers, and amplification substrates optimized for cellular labeling and detection. Super Fluor 647 dye molecules can be attached to proteins at high molar ratios without significant self-quenching, enabling brighter conjugates and more sensitive detection.

The spectra and filters of Alexa fluor 647 and Cy5 were matched. The total fluorescence intensity of Alexa fluor 647 secondary antibody conjugate was higher than that of Cy5 coupling compound of other companies. When combined with most proteins, oligonucleotides and nucleic acids, the fluorescence absorption spectrum of Alexa fluor 647 is very small compared with that of Cy5, so it emits stronger fluorescence at the same degree of substitution.
