Ancremonam is a single-agent monobactam that is effective againstEnterobacteriaceaestrains, including those expressing extended-spectrum -lactamases (ESBLs), metallo--lactamases (MBLs) and serine -lactamases (SBLs). Ancremonam MIC values for 37 strains encoded the following ESBLs, such as TEM-10, TEM-12, TEM-52, ranged from ≤0.06 to 8 μg/mL, with MIC₅₀and MIC₉₀values of 0.12 and 1 μg/mL, respectively^[2].
