Bitis Xerophaga Venom (Desert Mountain Adder Venom) is a venom that can be obtained from Desert Mountain Adder snake. Snake venom is a complex mixture of small molecules and peptides/proteins with neurotoxic, cytotoxic, cardiotoxic, muscular toxic, and various enzyme activities. A series of studies have found that snake venom toxins also exert antitumor, antibacterial, anticoagulant and analgesic activities^[1].
