Kurzipene D (compound 4) is a potentanticanceragent. Kurzipene D induces theapoptosisand arrested the HepG2 cell cycle at S stage. Kurzipene D shows anti-tumor effects usingin vivozebrafish model. Kurzipene D has the property of inhibiting tumor proliferation and migration[1].

Kurzipene D (compound 4) shows strong cytotoxic activity against cancer cells K562, HepG2, A549, and HeLa, with IC50values of 7.2 ± 0.4, 9.7 ± 0.3, 10.9 ± 0.6, and 12.4 ± 1.0, respectively[1].
