生物活性

Moroidin is atubulin polymerizationinhibitor and has a potent inhibitory effect on purified tubulin polymerization. Moroidin is a bicyclic octapeptide belonging to the Urticaceae-type cyclopeptide family. Moroidin has cytotoxic effects for severalcancercells and can induceapoptosisin A549 human lungcancercells[1].

IC50& Target

IC50: 3.2 μM (A549); 8.3 μM (H1299); 9.6 μM (U87); 5.2 μM (U251); 9.9 μM (HCT116)[1].

体外研究
(In Vitro)

Moroidin (compound 1) (0-80 μM; 24, 48, or 72 h) has cytotoxicity to cancer cells with IC50values of 3.2, 8.3, 9.6, 5.2 and 9.9 μM in A549, H1299, U87, U251 and HCT116 cells, respectively[1].
Moroidin (0.01-100 μM; 24 h, 48 h, 72 h) interferes with microtubule polymerization and decreases β-tubulin protein levels in A549 cells[1].
Moroidin (0-20 μM; 48 h) arrests the cell cycle in the G2/M phase and induces apoptosis in A549 cells[1].
Moroidin (0.5, 1, 2 μM; 0, 24, 48 h) represses the migration and invasion of A549 cells[1].
