Nocloprost, a prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) analog, is an orally activeEP1-andEP3-receptoragonist. Nocloprost inhibits evoked [³H]ACh release. Nocloprost has gastroprotective and ulcer-healing properties. Nocloprost accelerates the healing of chronic gastric ulcerations and enhanced mucosal growth in rats^[1][2].
