背景信息：

含有 rictor-1 (protor-1) 和 protor-2 的蛋白观察到都可以与 rictor 相互作用，并且被发现是 mTORC2 的组分 (1)。protor-1 或 protor-2 缺失不会影响其他 mTORC2 组分组装成一个有活性的复合体 (2)。Protor-1 经证实对 mTORC2 介导的 SGK1 激活非常重要 (2)。Protor-2 在 tristetraprolin 介导的 mRNA 代谢转换中发挥作用 (3)。
