性质描述:

无色液体。熔点-75℃，沸点118-119℃，相对密度0.9135，折射率1.4147。闪点（开杯）35℃。与乙醇、乙醚混溶，微溶于水。易聚合。

生产方法:

1.由甲基丙烯酸与乙醇酯化而得。将甲基丙烯酸和无水乙醇加入反应锅，加入少量浓硫酸，加热回流至出现酯层。冷却，分出酯层，经碱洗，水洗，干燥，再减压分馏即得产品，工业品甲基丙烯酸乙酯含量≥98%。原料消耗定额：甲基丙烯酸950kg/t、乙醇900kg/t。2.丙酮氰醇与硫酸反应生成甲基丙烯酰胺，再经水解并与乙醇酯化得粗成品，然后进行脱水、精馏得成品。

用途:

与其他单体共聚，可得酯类共聚物，还可用于涂料工业、粘合剂、纤维处理剂及成型材料的制造等。
